Wondercon 2005
San Francisco
Feb. 19-21

The biggest POWWOW for movies, comics, tv, animation, pop culture etc. in Northern California recently took place, and SJ Fanboy was there! Actually, SJ Fanboy got busted for snapping pics when he wasn't supposed to but enough of that...

While scheduled guest Paris Hilton was AWOL (maybe something to do with her cell phone being hacked that weekend), celebrities were busting out of the Moscone Center with the new Batman himself, Christian Bale, registering the highest on the "AAAAAAAHHHHH" scale. Also on hand were Elisha Cuthbert (24, The Girl Next Door), Kevin Smith (Clerks), Margot Kidder (Superman), and the Big Wookie himself, Peter "Chewbaca" Mayhew.

For those of you who are con-illiterate, the three days were filled with panel discussions, movie companies promoting their films, autograph sessions and more. Of course there was the huge ass exhibitor hall with vendors selling every pop culture item imaginable and uber-fans parading about in their cool home made costumes.

Here's just a glimpse...

Holy S**t! It's Nightcrawler!

Fanboy Frenzy!

"Crave attention? Moi?!"

I think the middle one is turning to the Dark Side.

An old flame of Captain James T. Kirk.

A happy member of the Hong Kong Ghostbusters unit.

Coming Soon! Peter Mayhew in Private Parts 2!

"And what's your view on the Iraq War?"

"Hey Dude! Girls can be in the Empire too!"

Elisha Cuthbert on a big screen.

Christian Bale also on a big screen.

Margot Kidder greets Lois Lane's Number One Fan.

Why settle for one when you can have two!
